Do you catch yourself logging on to social media sites like Facebook, Linked In Twitter or You tube when you should be working? Of course you do! Naturally, we log on with entrepreneurial intentions. But if you don’t put a strict time limit on your visit, it becomes a time trap. All it takes is one curious link and then -two hours later-you realize how much time you wasted with no work to show for it. If this sounds like you, I’ve got great news.
This Lifehacker article featured an awesome new website that will help you put a time limit on your internet browsing habits. It’s called Minutes Please. You have to check it out! It will help you control the idle time you spend on the net. All you do is enter the site you want to open, how long you want to spend on it and then press the please button. Instantly the site you wanted opens in a new window and when the time’s up it automatically closes! You can even set up a 1 minute warning pop-up to let you know you running out of time.
How cool is that? Talk about keeping yourself in check!
Everybody needs a little a web break. This amazing tool will help you take the break you planned on.
